Thumbs Up on Identifying a Zero EMF Location for Rancho Quieto
Yes, Zero EMF Locations Do Exist. Hello Rancho Quieto

After many years scouting out potential locations for a zero EMF refuge to locate Rancho Quieto, the historic event was finally achieved, and this photo immortalizes the moment – Chris giving the thumbs up at identifying EMF-free land. With a peak reading of 0.001 uW/m2 in most spots on the acreage, as measured using the Safe and Sound Pro 2 meter by Safe Living Technologies, this 63 acre parcel in the White Mountains of Arizona met the stringent criteria we were looking for.
Our prime directive was to find a location that displayed zero radio/microwave measurements and zero electric and magnetic measurements in an area that was not in “the path of progress”, many miles from powerlines, and extremely unlikely to suddenly be bombarded with unexpected EMF from a newly-erected celltower, or satellite transmissions designed for dense 5G expansion.
It also had to be beautiful and scenic in an emotionally rejuvenating way, accessible and climate friendly in a physical enjoyment way, peaceful and restorative in a spiritual balance way, and Nature-made natural and revitalizing in a health and well-being way, free of pollution of all kinds – airborn toxins, noise, electrosmog, agricultural chemicals, airline flight paths, and more. And it had to offer abundant clean water for human consumption and sustainable use.
On the practical side of the ledger, we also needed to find a county whose building codes were open to “experimental housing” and with an open minded approach to future growth that was sustainable for the existing natural resources and preservation of environmentally pristine land.
Our search took us up and down the western states, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, focused on inland areas far less populated than the western coastal areas, and the eastern half of the continent (even the now-endangered EMF Quiet Zone of Greenbank, West Virginia, which was once legally protected for the EMF-sensitive radio telescopes used in space exploration).
We experienced, just as Greenbank has experienced, time and time again when we located low EMF acreage the encroachment of celltowers and transmission lines soon proved to be too close on our heels. So it was “back to the drawing board” as the search for an EMF Quiet Zone for Rancho Quieto resumed.
At the end of the day we are happy to say that the search was worth every effort. EMF Quiet Zones do exist, and this feature section of the EMF Experts News is dedicated to telling the story as it unfolds. Our hope is that our readers worldwide will find inspiration, motivation and know-how to find and create their own EMF refuges, respites and retreats for their families, and for sharing with others.
