How do consumers find an EMF Consultant to help them with local growing concerns about EMF, such as the possible health hazards of wireless technologies and the rising electrosmog exposure levels? (Photo Credit: Donel King, Certified EMF Expert Consultant).
In many cases a local EMF Consultant is right under their nose(s), but they don’t know how to find him/her because no clues show up on the first page of Google.
That is when having a professional EMF Consultant pull up beside you at a traffic light with a car gift-wrapped in a visual message, really has impact.
Vehicle wraps command attention. A well designed wrap can turn an ordinary car, truck or van into a go anywhere, multi-market, year round mobile advertising machine. Based on feedback from clients and statistics gathered by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA), vehicle wraps offer the best return on investment when marketing your business, product, event or service.
Car Wraps Outperform More Expensive EMF Consulting Business Promotion
In addition to being the most versatile option for your advertising dollar, vehicle wraps offer the lowest cost-per-impression of any form of advertising. Unlike other media options like radio, billboards, TV, or direct mail, vehicle wraps work for you 24/7, 365 days a year, and they last for up to six years.
So, how many impressions (eyeballs seeing it) does that mean? Depending on your drive time, your parking exposure, your service clientele area, the city and population size, a single vehicle wrap can generate between 30,000 and 80,000 daily impressions (statistic from OAAA).
In comparison to other marketing strategies, vehicle wraps can generate around 8.4 million impressions on a yearly basis (according to Sign Industry Magazine).

Let’s compare the many of the cost advantages of a vehicle wrap to other traditional real-world advertising options:
Cost per Thousand (CPM) Impressions
(Dollar Amounts per 1,000 people viewing each ad)
- Vehicle Wraps – $0.15
- Billboards – $1.78
- Radio (60 Sec AM spot) – $5.92
- Newspaper Display Ad – $11.66
With the average vehicle wrap investment costing around $3,000 and in service for a average lifespan of 6 years, the investment breaks down like this:
- – $500 per year
- – $41.65 per month
- – $9.61 per week
- – $1.37 per day
Why Use Real-World Local Advertising?
As far as real-world traditional advertising goes it is hard to beat those prices, when even the most modest Facebook or Twitter ad campaign is more than that.
But why does real-world advertising do a better job than online advertising? Because it demonstrates to potential clients that you are right here, right now – a known entity who is knowledgeable about local EMF issues. Your winning card is that doing business with local real-world people (aka neighbors) is still perceived as more trustworthy and dependable.
EMF Expert Consultant Certification Training has changed my life and put me in a cutting edge industry that has been lucrative and rewarding for the service I am able to render. The car wrap gives awareness to dangers that are in plain sight and conveys a professional perception to an emerging skill set. My Clients are normally those who want an EMF inspection before buying a property after observing a cell tower, transformer, substation, etc nearby, and from folks who are sick and suspect that EMF could be the culprit. I talk to a lot of EHS folks.Donel King, Certified EMF Expert Consultant, Nashville TN
Design your vehicle advertising images and message to attract the interest of the type of clientele you are aiming to provide EMF consulting service for.
A few ROI Cautions to keep in mind when ordering your vehicle wrap – remember that a custom design well suited to the shape. size and color of your vehicle will have not just additional artistic appeal but more importantly, added memory recall – this is where the help of a good designer can be worth its weight in ROI (return on investment) gold. Plus a professional graphic artist (see more below) can help you make the most of the artistic medium, for example wraps lend themselves to vibrant colors, creative design boldness, and imaginative visual elements.
Also, for practical ROI purposes, take into consideration the climate in your area and select wrap materials accordingly, such as UV protection for sunny cities and water-proof protection for rainy ones. Also consider how much you drive, where, and how your usual vehicle use could be made more “public”, without necessarily spending more on fuel and maintenance.
Partial Vehicle Wrap
The estimates of initial outlay costs would be less if you had a vehicle that was well suited to a partial vehicle wrap, which just like it sounds, is designed to be applied to only part of the vehicle.
I’ve found that my vehicle wrap has been especially effective promoting my services to the inquisitive neighbors when parked at a client’s home during an EMF investigation or remediation. Once I have visited a neighborhood the calls start coming in and, knowing this, before I leave I always ask my client if I can refer neighbors to him/her for a recommendation of my work. It is a major win/win for all when EMF awareness rises in a neighborhood.Roger Young, Certified EMF Expert Consultant, WA USA
Even partial wraps can offer attention grabbing promotion, and photographs can serve as colorful educational messages with personal service-oriented “face time”. In fact businesses that advertise using photographic vehicle wraps have seen boosts in name recognition 15 times greater than using other advertising media.
Everyone in a human body is impacted by EMF and so it makes sense to promote EMF services to audiences of all ages, gender, backgrounds, income, and professions. Vehicle Wraps do just that.
Keeping good records of the clientele that is directly attributable to your Vehicle Wrap advertising will show you how much income your wrap has generated for you at the end of the wrap life span. I have yet to see a well designed vehicle wrap pay for itself in a surprisingly short time when used well as a new-client-prospecting strategy.
Window Decals: Another Popular Alternative
Using rear window graphics and signs is another effective and safe way to advertise your EMF Consulting services on your vehicle. Rear window graphics allow you to display large messages and still maintain full visibility of your surroundings.
Window decals are less expensive, and some are held in place by static cling, which makes them easy to install and to remove without leaving adhesive on the window glass (although they are practically impossible to re-insert once removed).
Rear window graphics (also known as perforated car window decals) are specialized decals designed for the use on the rear and side windows of your vehicle. These decals are made using perforated vinyl, meaning that tiny holes called micro punctures are punctured into 50% of the material. This allows the design on the decal to be visible from the outside and see-through from the inside. Using rear window graphics is a great way to advertise your business or show off a custom design while still maintaining clear visibility when looking out your vehicle’s windows.
Custom rear window graphics are commonly used to cover the entire rear or side windows on any type of vehicle that has windows that offers a large enough text space for easy reading.
Window decals can vary widely in cost (generally from $300 to $900), and can be custom designed and ordered easily online in a variety of materials (from weather resistant to weather proof) and sizes that can be trimmed to fit your vehicle’s window exactly. Another advantage of window decals is that if you are handy there is no need to pay for professional installation. If you are handy you can install your perforated window decal on your car or truck with the assistance of an installation video.
Some extra care needs to be taken, however perforated car decals are safe for manual car washes and will stand up to most exterior elements. Avoid electric car washes and power washers when washing your car. To extend the life of your decals, avoid parking in direct sunlight for extremely long periods of time. Remove dirt and other buildup regularly with a damp, non-abrasive cloth to keep adhesive strong.
Magnetic Door Signs – the Least Expensive Vehicle Advertising Alternative
Need more flexibility? And less expense? Vehicle Door Magnet Signs offer you the advantage of the on-again off-again alternative for those times you want to go either boldly or incognito.
Magnetic vehicle signs range from about $49 ( 12″ x 8″) to $120 (24″ x 36″) per set of two. They can be readily ordered online where you can upload your own design or logo. They can be created in various shapes with subtle backgrounds that blend with your vehicle’s paint finish, or in vibrant eye-popping colors that grab attention. The main disadvantage is that magnetic signs tend to become quickly damaged laying around on the floor of your trunk unprotected. So, keep the original packaging for storing them when not in use, or when removing them going through an automatic car wash.
